Suitcase Mountain Accident:

If you find this funny, it is okay to laugh.  I did, but then I easily amuse myself!

"Once upon a time, in a quaint little cul-de-sac on Toy Castle Lane, (which, if you remember, is located at the very top of Suitcase Mountain) the sled team crashed while awaiting their turn to speak with Santa.

The Guardian Snowmen were surprisingly slow to respond to the dreadful accident.  They stood tucked behind homes and trees; grinning like fools in the midst of disaster.  Lord knows how long those poor boys will have to lay upon the frozen, lacy snow before help arrives!

Maybe now the town will fork out a bit more dough and finally hire Guardian Angels instead, as Mrs. Bluster has been suggesting for years.  In her humble opinion, angels move faster than snowmen."

I entered this into "Amaze Me Monday" over at Dittle Dattle.  Thank you, Carrie and visitors from over there!

I also entered it into Marty's Table Top Tuesday, over at A Stroll Thru Life, and welcome my visitors from over there too!

The back story of all of this really isn't dark or full of deeper meaning.  I didn't like where I had these houses by the t.v., so I moved them to my rad brown suitcase.  A few days later I realized that one of our dogs must have bumped the suitcase just enough to knock the boys off the sled.  As I laid on the love seat watching t.v. and reading my book, I kept thinking about the boys being knocked off the sled and how I should get up and fix them.  Then my mind wandered to a possible story behind their accident that did not include monstrous, clumsy dogs.  I need practice with my creative writing, and I came up with this story.  Someday I might turn it into a frame- by-frame story that could be made into a book/slide show/movie, if I ever get away from my book and love seat.

The End.
