It was full of stuff. Some of it was mine, some was fabric from my Grandma.
done at Oregon Gifts of Comfort and Joy.
Well, look what else was in there!!!
A quilt top that Grandma had started but never finished. Wow. I am so excited about this. I don't have all the right colors to finish the quilt. Still, it is the perfect size for a tablecloth for the round table in the living room. It will also matches the colors in the dining room, so I can use it on that table also. Yay!
Can't you just imagine it in a lovely tablescape? When I am done with it, I will be sure to show you.
teaching us lots of stuff, like quilting.

This retro fabric reminds me of what we used to frame in embroidery hoops and then hot glue lace onto:
Anyway, I just wanted to show you what I found. I'm a pretty happy camper right now. Take care and God bless!

Blues in my Kitchen, please come and see.
What sweet family memories! My great-grandmother also made quilts. I can even remember the quilting loom in my grandparents' garage! I wish we could have taken it, but no room then or now. But my kids are still enjoying some of those lovely quilts. Ours are more floral but all so delightful. Thank you for the sweet memories!
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving your comments. It makes me happy that the trunk and quilts evoke fond memories for you guys like they do for me. God bless!
