Tonight's Moon:

On the first and last photos, I zoomed in, and used the "Twilight" setting on my camera.

On the middle photos, I used the "Twilight Portrait" setting, no zoom, and held the camera near to the bare tree branches in front of our house.

Give it a try, it is fun to experiment and doesn't cost anything but time, if you use your digital camera.

God bless, my blends!

Kathy

Hi Kathy! Love the pics...that moon is a howler! Ooowwww! We had a great moon after the snow last week and I had forgotten how gorgeous and ethereal it is at night with a bright moon and snow blanketing everything and reflecting the light. So beautiful!

P.S. Enter me in your contest! :)

Hi Lisa,

Welcome back! I will certainly enter you in the contest, and am happy that you enjoyed the photos. I really like showing the moon through the trees on nights like that. You are right, it is a howler!

Hi Donnie,

I know, they are eerie. I have others that I took last year that are very similar. Thanks for the compliment.
