Preparing to Sew: Cleaning Out the Goat Room

Grandma T. had a spare room that she put stuff in. Extra stuff, but good stuff. She called that room "The Goat Room". I'm not really sure why it was named the goat room, but my Mom probably knows, so we will probably find out soon, and I'll amend this post to tell you.

Yesterday I tackled my goat room ... the sewing area. There are still some things in it that I need to take out to storage or give away, but at least we can walk in here again. After I changed the bedrooms around last month, there was still stuff that was deposited in the sewing area, making it a true goat room. I needed to reorganize, because I am feeling the urge to start making things, now that winter is here, and I cannot sew in a messy room. Sewing makes enough of a mess on its own, and I like to be able to find my tools and not waste time looking for them.

Okay, now our house is almost all organized. Just one hall closet left to do and the computer desk left to do. Whew! Good job, Kathy M.!
