Desert Rose:

Okay.  Remember last week when I went into Bend and did a photo shoot of Trivia Antiques?  (If you missed that, there is a slide show of all the photos at the top of the page.  I'll post the the link of the three posts at the end of this one.)  Well, anyway, I spotted this china when I was there, and I bought a cup and saucer.

It reminds me of my sister, because she has this pattern (except that I don't remember all the gold trim on hers).  She inherited it from our Uncle John and Aunt Signa.

Here it is, my new treasure:

It is Franciscan Earthenware and was made in the USA.

I don't know much about china, so if you know anything about this pattern, please leave a comment and fill us in.  It is called Desert Rose.  I paid $12.00 for the set, and I love it!

Thank you to Marilou for filling us in:

Hi.  I love that china, I have the newer version of it as it has been produced to a long time, the pattern is called Desert Rose. It is still produced but it doesn't have the look of the original, subtle changes were made. Hugs Marilou

I am entering this post into the following meme's.  Please check out the other beautiful china, tea cups and table top displays on their blogs when you get a chance.  Thank you, Lady Katherine and Marty for faithfully hosting for us each week.

God bless, and have a wonderful and beautiful Tuesday!

Love that the edges and handles are 'twigs'. Beautiful.

A very pretty cup and saucer! I've seen this pattern before, but I don't personally know anything about it. Type the name of it, that's on the underside, into Google or Bing and a lot of info will probably come up for it. Good luck!
Best,
Gloria

Hi Susan,
Thank you so much for coming by to see me! I am happy you enjoyed the tea cup setting.

Hi Jessa Irene,
I didn't even catch that part...I am glad that you pointed it out. Thank you for your visit and God bless!

Hi Gloria,
That is a great idea. Now that Marilou told me a bit about it, I have more to go on. Thanks so much for visiting today. Take care.

Kathy
