This and That Tuesday:

Well, the Ducks did not win.  But what a game!  It was a back and forth struggle for both teams all the way through.  With two minutes left, Auburn was ahead 19-11.  Then, Oregon tied it 19-19.  I thought, okay, it will go into overtime.  But, no, with 10 seconds left in the game, Auburn got a field goal, and the final score was 22-19.  I am so proud of the Ducks, though!!!!

I am going to keep my game sweatshirt that
Cary got me for Christmas FOREVER.

Kari, Rick and Casey in the Gilchrist Family Restaurant this summer.

We have some sad news in our family.  It is the end of an era.  My girls' Dad is closing his restaurant and lounge in Gilchrist.  The Oregon/Auburn game last night was the final event.  We will all miss going there.  It was an awesome place, filled with memories of weddings, car shows, family reunions and so much more.  Thanks, Rick, for all you did for that little town ... and for all of the fun we had at The Pine Room.  Best of luck on your future plans!

I have been playing catch-up on the phone with my peeps the past couple of days.  That always grounds me and fills me with joy.  Besides my regulars, I was so glad to have two heart-to-hearts with my BFF's Patty and Nancy.  Thanks, to all of you who listen to me, and for sharing your amazing stories with me.  April always has some pretty amazing ones.

One of those stories is the details of Nancy's daughter Terra getting married to Alan on Saturday.  Congratulations you two!
Well, that is about it for now.  I have to get ready to go to the dentist.  Take care, and have a wonderful day!

God bless,

~ Kathy

Sorry that your team didn't win, my dear friend... But, may I say that you look beautiful in your red dress? I love it! :)
