Oregon Stamping Group Seeks New Members!
I have a new blend, Barb K., who just moved back to Bend with her husband Jim. We have been corresponding, and hope to meet in person soon. Here is the link to her blog: "On Needle - On Paper: Notes of the Wandering Mind" . Among other things, Barb creates beautiful hand-stamped cards, and has just begun a club for others in Oregon who do the same.
If you stamp and live in the beautiful state of Oregon, I wanted to share this info with you. Each month, members make a card that goes with that month's theme, and then mail it to another member. The beautiful card below is one that Barb made last month and forwarded on:
You are welcome to check the home page and join Barbara, as we begin an Oregon Adventure. Lets stamp Beautiful Oregon!
What's not to like? The Great Outdoors, super people with homey ideas and fantastic image inspiration, for stamping and learning about our state. Join us in promoting our love of animals, themes and scenes we enjoy in Oregon. Arty challenges each month for sharing of what makes us happy in Oregon. From sea to mountains, fruit and produce, rivers, wildlife, people...you know it is all here.
We just opened this month...January, 2011. We need our Oregon Membership to grow and get ready to share. Please feel free to ask fellow Oregon stamping artists to join us.
Our first theme challenge [a one-to-one card swap] was Oregon Coast and the next is Happy Birthday Oregon - hearts, in honor of the Feb. 14th birthday of Oregon. An album for adding scans is available so all may enjoy the shared art. Also on the group site: address list and our bios to meet and greet each other
Thanks, and WELCOME!
