Prayer Request for Our Blogging Friends:

I know that many of you who are my Blends (blog friends) are stuck smack dab in the middle of the horrible blizzard that continues to rage as I write this.  I hope that you are all safe and warm, with plenty of food, water and electricity.  God bless all of you.

There is something very horrible happening to Australia right now.  A 2100 mile across mega-cyclone is getting ready to hit; and of course this is on top of all the flood damage that they received last month.  My blend Natasha, who lives in Brisbane, wrote an excellent and informative post about the details.  When you get a chance, please check it out here: 5 Minutes Just for Me.

Please join me in prayer for Natasha and her family, as well as for Tracy and her family.  Tracy's blog is  Hey Harriet!, and she hosts Shadow Shot Sunday.  Of course, the whole country needs our prayers, and then our help when this storm finally leaves.  Thank you!

I'm not meaning to leave anybody out.  I have been meeting so many new people all at once, and am not sure where everybody lives.  If you would like to be added on here, please just leave me a comment.  God bless!

I just love that first comment! Mother Nature has indeed caused quite a few problems this week. It would appear that the cyclone caused much damage but thank God most people were safely protected. There are storm surges now but the cyclone has been downgraded to a category 3.

Thank you for your sweet message and for this post too. You are such a great "blend" and you make the world a better place for sure!

Best wishes,
Natasha.

Well, thank you, Natasha, you are such a sweetie.  We are so happy that you are okay! Whew, we are all glad that storm has passed. Watching the news this morning, we saw the devastation and property damage, but learned that nobody died.  I count that as a very successful answer to prayer!  Thank you, God.  I am posting the links that Tracy suggested when the floods in Australia were going on, if anybody wants to help that way:

Hi Kathy - Mother Nature certainly has her panties in a wad this week, doesn't she? I say that in a teasing way, though there is nothing amusing about the destruction that cyclone with cause and the potential for disaster with the blizzard here in the Northeast. Prayers abounding for everyone in the midst of nature's extreme activities.

OMG, Lisa...you made me truly Laugh Out Loud at your comment! And although I agree about the horrible weather happenings, I guess it's okay to express and experience a little humor. What comedian was it that said something like, "If we didn't laugh, we'd all be crying?"...or something...Thanks for your prayers and well wishes, Miss Kathy! I'm fine here..and I'm sure all my local bloggy friends are, too!

I have been wondering how they are doing too, our news doesn't cover much about it, but the destruction is on such a big scale it is hard for us to comprehend. Now more destruction on top of what they already have, Prayers, YES !

Hi Kathy, that is what I've been thinking too ... how hard it is to comprehend. It is so big that it will be there awhile. I'm scared for everybody there. I'm going to see what the news says ... they are focusing on Egypt, which is getting worse by the minute.
