This and That ... Mine and Yours:

My Stuff:

Last week, I was one of five lucky winners in  Becky Povich's  "Pay It Forward" contest.  Thanks, Becky!

Here is how it works:  the first five people who leave a comment saying that they wish to participate receive a homemade gift from me.  In addition, they promise to continue the contest and send a homemade gift to five people on their own blog.  I will be sending out a card (blank inside) made of the photo below.  I will also include one of the little handmade green hearts I made from M.E. fabric.  If you win, I will need you to email your mailing address to me.

Here is a photo of what the card will look like, and what the heart does look like:

 Good luck!

Your Stuff:

I featured this website last year, but I wanted to show you it again.  My friends Karla and Ralph Gains and their children, moved to Tombstone, Arizona last year. They are doing great things for their community.  One of those great things they did was to set up this awesome website.  Please click here to see some beautiful photos and to learn a lot of old west history.

Congratulations to our friend Shawn Miller, who has just moved to Missouri and started his new job with "Hoseheads" website, which   deals in sprint car photos and news.  Shawn is my good friend Shelly's son, and our family has been friends with theirs for years.  Way to go, Shawn, this is a very exciting development. Click here to read Shawn's first article and about how he decided to move across the country to take this job.

Natasha over at 5 Minutes Just For Me  is inviting you to her Valentines Day "Sunday Song Party".  It will take place on Sunday.  Please visit her blog and see how to enter!

Lisa over at Writing in the Buff  is holding a great contest.  One of the prizes is one of my very favorite books, Stephen King's "On Writing".  But that is not all, she is offering lots more great stuff.  Make sure that you head on over and sign up to win!

Jessa Irene, over at A Holiday Haven has some great tips on getting great deals in February ... along with tons of other great information.

I think it has been a while since I featured my friend Laraine.  She always cracks me up.  For a laugh out loud and some silly good clean fun, please make sure you read her blog frequently: Larainy Days.

Today is Monday, which means it is time for SJ's  "Swap Followings" party.  This is a great way to gain more followers and friends for your blog.  (As I mentioned the other day, I am putting my own new followers section on hold for a bit, until I get caught up with everybody that I already have...but that is just my own trip.  For now, I appreciate your emails and comments, and will be working hard visiting your blogs.)

Love you guys.  Have a wonderful week!

If you miss a day, you miss a lot!  Don't miss out on the news ... Please click here to go to my home page and see what is happening in Mayberry today.

Hi Kathy - Thanks for the shout out and the link. That puts your name in the drawing twice, and it will go in again for each person who enters and says you sent them.:) You won my Thanksgiving contest. Let's see if your luck holds! Thanks again, Kathy. I appreciate your friendship and support!

Hi Lisa ... you are very welcome. You know I love to win stuff, but it always seems like it should be someone elses turn. But if my luck holds, who's to argue? Ha! I appreciate you so much too.
