There is a sign on this big red building that says, "Shaniko Museum, Reed Mission". Inside the doors, there are donation boxes that mention donations will go for restoration purposes. Though we hadn't been to Shaniko for seven years, everything looks exactly the same as I remembered it. The most remarkable thing about that to me is that there hasn't been any vandalism.
On the inside, there were so many things to see! I could not help to think of Mike, Frank and Danielle from the A&E reality show American Pickers , and how much they would love this place.
The old fashioned camper above was what the sheep-herders used out in the field.
There were all of these old vehicles inside the fencing:
Outside, in the back, there was a lot more to see:

Most cars could use a washing...
But some could be splendid if better maintained. Interesting sights there. I wonder what this is in photo DSC08400. Do you know its purpose?

Bruno, well, we are not certain, but both Mom and I think it is a probably a food cart of some sort.
Would make sense. I think it's pretty and a little work on it would do wonders.

Thank you for posting these great pictures of the cars in the Livery Barn. I haven't been able to visit since the 1980's and I never took a lot of pictures during my visits.
Your last picture from the Shaniko Car Museum, is a 1946 Chrysler. It is known as the Astoria Clown Car, and is undergoing a slight restoration.

Oh, thank you, I'm glad that you enjoyed the pictures. I'll check out your link.
