The Road to Self-Confidence Can Begin With New Underwear:

There are times in a woman's life when she sometimes loses her confidence.  Or she may just get too busy with the kids and with life, and no longer does the little things for herself like she used to.  My theory is that you can tell if a gal is taking care of herself by looking at the condition of the underwear she wears.  

We are not talking about a certain style here ... you get to choose whether you want bikini's, briefs, thongs or granny panties.  Just consider this ... what shape are your underpants in?  Are they injun unders, creeping up your bottom, making you uncomfortable all day long? (Sorry.) Are they ripped, too small or too big, stained or yucky looking?  (Sorry.)  If you got into an accident today wearing the underwear you have on, would you be embarrassed about them in the emergency room? 

Good underwear is really about investing in yourself.

Once upon a time, I was in an unhappy, daily struggle of a marriage that lasted for years and years.  It boiled down to some kind of weird power struggle designed to keep me down instead of building me up; or at least that is how I feel about it now, looking back.  If you haven't ever been there, I am truly happy for you.  If you have been, then you understand what I am talking about, so I don't have to provide any details on here.  Relationships like those are really the same old story, just with different people and different events.

I'm telling you that to tell you this:  My neighbor lady knew about good underwear, and had previously bought around ten sets of really nice J.C. Penney bra and panty sets. Then, she outgrew them and gave them to me.  They were really just like new.  Not being too proud to wear hand-me-downs from a friend, those pretty little combo sets started me on the road to regaining my confidence.  Under my clothes, I looked good.  I felt pretty.  It was just a baby step, but I eventually decided that I was better off on my own, took my power back and moved on with my life.  The rest is history.  I returned to school, moved to La Pine and met the love of my life.  

Even if you already know about wearing good underwear, never stop doing nice things for yourself.  Nice things don't have to cost a lot, but you do matter.  As you take care of everybody else, remember to take care of you too!
