Anyway, there were some old Pepsi crates featured, and I thought, hey, I have some of those! I got mine from Bring Recyling in Eugene around 20 years ago. Apparently they are the in thing now ... the cat's meow.
Here is how I used mine:

Filled with treasures my kids gave me when they were little. The old whiskey bottles came from my Grandma's house. I don't know why she saved them, or why I do, but they are small and cute.

Here is my caddy for the kids art supplies. They get their own; mine are in my creating room. Felt pens dry up over time, even when you don't use them very often, so I replace them every once in a while. Usually in August when they are on sale for cheap. Pencil erasers dry out around here too, so I have the pencils stored with the points up. That is Cary's Uncle Sonny over there in the corner.

I LOVE how you used and repurposed your soda crates! Very cute! Thank you so much for the plug and for mentioning my blog. I am honored!
I lived in POrtland Oregon for a year as a child, I recall it being so beautiful in Oregon. Thanks so much for dropping by Tales from Bloggeritaville. I hope you will again...and again! I love new friends!

Well, then, that is a deal Leigh! And you are welcome ... love your ideas.
I should have kept the one crate I found. It wasn't a Pepsi or Coke crate but had my hometown name on it. I kept it for awhile, then I gave it to my nephew or my brother who both still live there. I could have been even more organized if I'd kept it. hehehe
