Music Scene: The Dick Danger Band

Meet Kevin Angvick.  Kevin is my friend Carly's brother, and I have not seen him for decades, but we are now Facebook friends.  We all grew up on the same street in Eugene.

As I have been busy with other things over the past 30 years, so has Kevin.  One thing that Kevin has been busy doing is becoming Dick Danger of The Dick Danger Band.  I can't wait to see them play in person, but in the meantime, we can can watch their videos on You Tube, Facebook and My Space.  Here is a link to The Dick Danger Band singing their original song, "Barking Like a Doggie".

As you know, I enjoy featuring folks who are doing well and making a positive impact.  I am happy for Kevin and his band, and am celebrating their hard work and success.  Way to go, Dick Danger Band!

The Dick Danger Band plays in Eugene and the rest of the Northwest.  Their music is original rockabilly.  For current information on where they will be next, check out their Facebook page.  That is where I got these photos from.

You are doing good, Kevin.  I'm proud of you.
These pictures came from the band's MySpace and Facebook pages.

Hey, Laraine!

Thanks for stopping by. I like their music too ... I just learned about it this morning. It would be fun to go and see them play.

I listened to the link you provided and then to Outlaw With No Name (I think that was it). I like it, but my daddy would have LOVED this music. I bet they're fun at a show. Thanks for sharing.
