To get there from Highway 97, turn onto Burgess Road at Wikiup Junction north of LaPine, and take that road all the way to the end. Turn left onto Road #42 (South Century Drive) and drive past the Crane Prairie Resort entrance toward Cascade Lakes Highway. After a couple of miles, on your right, you will find a gravel road, Road #4285. Turn onto it and drive a mile or so until you find the sign for the boat ramp.

This is a very nice little spot to put your boat in and do a bit of fishing. There is a nice bank on the south side of the landing where you can place your lawn chairs and hang out.

Looks like a great place to kayak or just to air out your mind. You do have some lovely views to enjoy.
Gorgeous photos!!
Hi Patti,
That would be a perfect place to kayak. It is a shallow lake, only 11' at the deepest, and a great place to bass fish too.
Cassie,
Thank you!
Kathy this is the kind of place I like to hang out. I don't mind kayaking for I am afraid of water but love to do bass fishing here. Then have a fresh fish to grill for dinner yummy!! ^_^ Happy Wednesday!
Watery Wednesday
Thanks for the visit to that peaceful lake, Kathy!
WATER ON WEDNESDAY
Water on Wednesday
And other days too,
Water for me, friend,
And water for you;
Water as ocean
And water as sea,
Water for you, friend,
And water for me;
Every day water
In puddle or ice
Or snowflakes or mist—
Oh, water is nice!
