Rising Stars Preschool:

This is my friend Shawna.  I met her around 8 or 9 years ago when I was going to college and doing an internship at Head Start.  She was the site coordinator of the La Pine classroom, and a pretty nice boss at that.

Maybe around 5 or 6 years ago, Shawna began her own successful preschool, which is called  Rising Stars Preschool .  It is located at the La Pine Community Campus, next door to Head Start.  Here is the link to their website, if you are looking for a great place to send your kiddos: Rising Stars Preschool

Shawna makes it a tradition to have her girls be in the parade each 4th of July.  I make it my tradition to take their picture and give her a copy of it.  This year, Shawna and her youngest daughter were on the Rising Stars Preschool float.  They had rocking music, and everybody was dancing and having a blast.  I don't know if their float won first place, but I would have voted for that.

I have a couple of these photos in the "parade" post below, but since I made a collage to send to Shawna, I decided to show it here too.  Just click on it to make it bigger.

Mayberry is blessed to have this special little family in our town.

Thanks, you guys!
