For some reason, Blogger is giving me trouble responding to comments today.

Thank you, Lisa, for your kind words.  Grandma Pearl died last night at 8:44, surrounded by love and family. Our hospice nurse, Diane was there too.  I'll do a tribute on Grandma in a little while, but am going to post the High Desert Museum pictures first, because there are so many of them, and I don't want Grandma's stuff to get lost in the midst.  To Grandma:  We love you so much and will miss you every single day.  Heaven is lucky to get you.

Kathy, as you can see, I'm scrolling down and leaving comments as I go. I hadn't realized it'd been so long since I'd visited your blog. Luckily, though, you said you haven't been writing much. I'm so sorry to hear about your grandma. I'm sure she is in a beautiful place!

Becky, I did make a bunch of posts all at once, it probably hadn't been that long.

Thank you, Lisa. I may wait and write it after the funeral, which is on Saturday. It isn't often that you know somebody who is nearly 99 years old, didn't have a bad disease and has a total of 66 grand kids (counting the greats and great-greats!) She was truly a nice lady, and I'm not just saying that. I will miss her a lot.
