Of course, I would LOVE all things Texan. The Alamo shot is perfect for this year too by the way since Texas celebrates the 175th year of Independence!! But, I must say the photo of the motorboat with the misty clouds hanging so very low in the background is stupendous!!!

I think the shadows on the Alamo are just fabulous. The photo also reminds me that I've never seen this famous landmark in person, so it needs to be on my list of "must-see" places in the USA!

SHADOW SINGER

Of shadows an old man did sing;
He chanted in Guelph and Beijing;
The shade was his friend,
He loved it no end—
It made him feel rich as a king!

Kathy, That was quite the "travelog"--very nice. I'll be in San Antonio next weekend to watch KU play in the Sweet Sixteen round (go Jayhawks). Love the Alamo gift shop shot. Mickie

Thank you, everybody. Sitting here in the winter that will never end, it is fun for me to look at them too and to remember that soon we'll be on the road again. Even if we stay closer to home this year. :>)
